Debating Public Opinion and Social Science Data on Immigration

Abstract

A lecture delivered to students at the Michigan National Debate Institutes. The 2018-2019 topic is about reducing restrictions on legal immigration. This talk surveys public opinion research on immigration with an emphasis on teaching students how to effectively research, interpret, and debate polling data.
